the web is the ONLY good item.
armor mods are worse than the amarr ones, even the "energized" versions, which really should not be according to fluff. everybody goes for caldari hybrid ammo, see jita market for proof; i can't understand why (eft maybe?). afterburners and mwds are crap, so is are the reppers (for a race that gets rep bonused ships).
and what should you use the magstabs for? to boost your subpar hybrids to get them to be moderate?
why do caldari have a web in their lp shop at all? why do they get all missile types and the other races not even their racial dmg type missile? each navy gets their racial drone only, why? especially, why do the gallente not get all dmg type drones, being the "drone" race?
why are there no cap charges in the gallente lp store?
why does the caldari lp store offer warp jammers?
why are gallente lp shield mods worse that t2?
why are the tag requirements higher in the gallente store?
why are "integrated"/"augmented" drone models so hard to come by, and yet so inefficient?
why are there no implants for drones and so few and prenerfed rigs for drones?
why are the command ship bonuses for the gallente ships so crappy?
why are there no fed navy eccms? or a navy DC (ohh, shiny awesomeness, that would be great)? why does the magstab give a rof bonus, thus messing with your cap even more?
why is it always better to up your tank by 10% than to up damage by 10%?

They need speed in order to close to their target (in order to bring their short range wepons to bear), this is no belief, it's a necessity. I'd (and most others) be flying a ship that either can get in range/gtfo or one that does nor rely on range that much. The first fits closest to minmatar ships, tha later to amarr ships. I don't really need to point out what most ppl fly nowadays in this context.

many ppl would call what you have a failfit. i'll just say that you try to use the mega in a role it is suboptimal for.
you have a strange mix of active and passive tank, thats for sure. normally one would choose the dual rep hyperion for solo gameplay, you already fitted the mods, just change the rigs accordingly. granted the hype lacks the utility high, it makes up for it with 2 webs, that medium neut is questionable anyway if you get tackled solo.
your drones are strange as well, as one would use warriors against frigs (hint: gallente drones are the slowest of all). i also suppose you had more than one wing of the same type; again a strange choice, maybe a neut-domi next time?
also, since you linked to BC, i can't but notice that your combat record with blaster ships is rather unsuccessful (surprise, surprise  ): 3 losses with the mega, 7 kills with a kronos (this one has the repper bonus, better cap efficiency and a web bonus  ), but a bucket load of kills with minmatar t3 ships and some with dominixes.
